Pool tech day checklist

1. Arrival & access

  • Confirm address and stop order
  • Gate code / lockbox / pet notes
  • Visual scan of deck and water color
  • Check in on route app or paper day list

2. Water tests

  • Free chlorine / bromine
  • pH
  • Alkalinity (as scheduled)
  • Calcium / CYA (as scheduled)
  • Salt level (salt systems)
  • Log readings for this visit

3. Chemicals & balance

  • Dose per company standards
  • Note product used and amount
  • Shock if required by policy
  • Record anything unusual (algae, cloudy)

4. Equipment & cleanup

  • Empty skimmer and pump baskets
  • Empty robot / cleaner if applicable
  • Brush walls / steps as needed
  • Net surface debris
  • Check filter pressure; backwash/clean per schedule
  • Inspect equipment pad for leaks or alarms

5. Before you leave

  • Photos if required (before/after or issue)
  • Customer-facing notes
  • Secure gates and equipment lids
  • Mark stop complete on day list
  • Notify office of callbacks or parts needed
